my parents are amazing gardeners.
growing up I didn't appreciate their talents.
i also didn't learn anything from them about vegetable gardens.
when mom came to visit she helped me start one.
unlike the pet fish, house plants and orchids the garden is somehow thriving in spite of me.
and the annoying kids in our neighborhood that slashed the greenhouse cover with a knife.
